Speed To Value
Speed to Value
Speed to Value, along with ROI, Durability and Efficiency, are the four benefit pillars that Odyssey creates for an organization. For purposes of the Odyssey Digital Automation Platform, the analysis compares how quickly something can be built in Odyssey, a No-Code Platform, versus other development methodologies.
The analysis below looks at the time it took to do the same project using Odyssey versus the traditional scrum process using technologies and tools like .Net, J2EE, SQL, etc. The chart also reflects elapsed time only. It does not account for number of people doing the development. For purposes of the analysis, the development process (no requirements gathering or UAT testing) time is provided. As you can see, the time saved on the development process ranged from a low of 79% to a high of 99%, with overall average time saved of 91-94%.
Note that the economic impact is understated, as the average scrum team, assuming a total scrum team of 7 people, has 5 developers. Odyssey scrum teams have 1 – 2 developers. Efficiency of a software build is the amount of software developed divided by the number of resources used like time, effort (number of people), among other examples. As we are only using elapsed time, the efficiency, where less than half the people are being utilized to build in Odyssey, further drives a much higher efficiency rate in the build process.
