Odyssey use case for Content and Document Publishing
A customer needed a system to gate, organize, and republish a large mass of content to the right audiences. An Odyssey project allows authorized creators to upload documents into the system as part of a document record. Then, a Business Custodian reviews the document in the record and determines if it is appropriate for general public consumption as is, or if a redacted version would be necessary to hide sensitive and proprietary information. If deemed to need edits, the Business Custodian issues instructions in the document record and the project routes the document record back to the creator(s) for edits. The creators edit and redact as necessary, update the document in the document record. The Business Custodian again reviews the redacted document, and determines it is appropriate for general public consumption. If any other approving parties must sign off on the release of this document, the project informs all parties there is a document record to approve or reject. If all necessary approvals are gathered by the system, the project migrates/publishes the documents to the appropriate public-facing webserver(s).
